One of the major advantages you can leverage as an investor is the knowledge you have from your passions, hobbies, and everyday life. Other non-gamers may understand these developers well from a business perspective, but they miss out on lots of perspective and nuance by not being an active gamer that is plugged into the community. As the legendary Magellan Fund manager Peter Lynch expounded "invest in what you know". All that to say don't underappreciate what you know, you have more of a leg up than you realize!
